Intel invented a protection against theft of laptops

Intel Corporation introduced at the forum IDF technology Kill Pill, which allows the laptop to protect against theft, writes TG Daily. Module Kill Pill posted on the motherboard. Thus, for example, formatting the hard disk will not allow to get rid of the protection system.

Kill Pill allows web interface to track computer via GPS and its IP-addresses. Also laptop can photograph the man seated behind him and send a snapshot of the present owners.

The owner of a laptop could send him a special message that erase encryption keys of the firmware and make the contents of the hard disk unreadable. In order to restore the information to allocate sufficient again deleted keys on a laptop.
