August
11, many users of popular free email service Gmail have been unable to
enjoy their mailboxes… when trying to authenticate, the system returns
an error "Temporary Error (502)." Later, at the official blog Gmail,
Google formally apologized to those users, who raised this setback.
Manager products Tod Jackson said in the blog
Gmail: "Normally we do not publish our blog reports on issues such as
this, but in this case we want to make an exception, as it affected too
many people." About 20 million users daily visit Gmail, and the whole
system has more than 100 million accounts.
